Thumbs up GAME SIX

Go Sox.

El Tiante & Carlton Fisk for the first pitch.

And to get things off to a fast start, the National Anthem will be performed by Dropkick Murphys

They need to get it done tonight. I'm very uneasy with a game 7.

Wacha has been phenomenal but even the best pitchers are less than phenomenal at times. I think he's overdue. Although I don't think Papi will see a pitch anywhere near the plate.

My cousin lives up in the North End and is preparing for the potential shenanigans win or lose.

Man, I hate the Sox. I especially hate that they have assembled a group of solid citizens who (a) play the game the right way and (b) are not ancient like my Yankees. I knew we were in trouble back when Buchholz went out with his arm problem and the Sox did not miss a beat. They are the best team we've seen in recent years, I think. If I were a better person, I would be rooting for the AL team to win the Series. I just can't do it.

[7th-inning stretch] I strongly approve the direction this game is going in

I feel the need for about a week. Then we'll get back to our regularly scheduled programming.
