Secret compartments are against the law. The guy broke a law. If he didn't like that law there are legal ways to change it. He's a criminal he is.

A k**t at least provides some level of pleasure to its users. A pig just smells bad and irritates people of many religions.

Does the law define exactly what is a secret compartment? Many cars have hidden, lockable storage areas. Are all their owners guilty, too?

That breeze you may have sensed just before you thought about writing your post was something going over your head . . .

There are no innocent adults in this country, every single person is guilty of something.

What part of 'secret' are you libbies not getting? If it's designed to stash something, no doubt drugs or druggie paraphernalia so the authorities can't find it, it's a secret compartment. It's against the law. The owner is a criminal. Only a druggie criminal would want to own a car like that anyway. Case closed.

Only because something so useful and beautiful shouldn't be profane. But otherwise, the most vile of profanities should apply to that pig.

Like any criminal case the subject is one of intent. What was the secret compartment intended to be used for?

I think just having such a thing should not be illegal. What's next? Secret compartments in your home? If so I know a few folks with some well hidden safes in their homes that are in a lot of trouble.

The only site I could find that actually went into any detail and tried to cover both sides of the story..

Many statutes do not require intent as part of the essential elements of an illegal act.
