kyb gas-adjust.....are they really adjustable? or is that just a name? can you dial in the stiffness of the shock?

An AirRide or RideTech system would be a much better, infinitely and instantly adjustable option.

I helped a guy named Ken Nelson collect info and parts while he did the restoration of the late Jacques Littlefield's 600.

x2. I did some research a few years ago on these beasts, and was surprised when I found many of these $$$ figure are inflated. When I had checked, there were a few companies that were starting to refurbish/rebuild many of the hydraulic components, and were doing it for a pretty fair price. There are a few DIYs on how to rebuild some of the air suspension components as well!

If someone were a die-hard DIYer, they could keep one of these running for a pretty reasonable cost. I'm not saying W124/300E cost, more like W220/S600 costs. Which wouldn't be too bad.

They are adjustable. Nice shocks but only last about 30,000 miles.

A friend in Toronto who operates a limo service has had this one for years.
He charges a hefty hourly rate during the Film Festival and also rents it out to movie shoots in the Toronto area.

Nice car but a little too rich for me. Even if I hit the lotto I don't think I'd go any crazier than a 450 SEL 6.9 as far as Mercedes go. More left to spend on Porches and Ferraris that way.
