The six is pretty peppy. Maintenance should be a bit less perhaps and a little better fuel economy. These cars are old enough I would buy condition before any particular feature....that said I am averse to complication so simpler is better.

Me too. But what about the six's head gasket issue? I've read that that is almost a certainty with these and so the cost could be a factor. No way I can do it myself so it'll have to be farmed out.
