I actually doubt it -- no sunset date for selling PCs with Windows 7 Professional preloaded has been established, making that deadline at least a year, maybe two away. Considering that they'll still let you downgrade to Vista (actually, even XP Pro), I think that we'll see Vista downgrade gone in a year, then maybe 7 another a year or two after that if not MUCH longer, perhaps even until end of extended support in 2020.

And as I said, the other option is to just steal a Win 7 key from a no longer functional PC. If M$ chooses to foist crapware on the public, then f'em with a fire axe.
