Yes, at 6' 1" I would have to fold up to get in, but it would be worth the cramped feeling to give one a go. Now that you point this out though, it might not be very good for the mission described by the OP, at least for a six footer.

If you find one to test fit, let me know how you make out! My only frame of reference is from the crazy-haired mechanic on Wheeler Dealers and a review I read several years back.

I did a 2600 mile West Coast trip in my Volvo 780 Bertone, it was a blast. My dream trip would be with a Citroen SM or Mercedes 500SEC.
