George from Seinfeld's custom caddy roadster

I just had a fantastic dream with George as a central character. I was good friends with him. I was at his house and he had a new car. It was a fantastic custom roadster based on a 67 Caddy. It was very low, like 3 to 4" of clearance and the rear wheels were completely enclosed. At first I was not interested in it but the swoopy lines just sucked me in and when he offered to take me for a ride I accepted.

When I went to get in I noticed that the cockpit was very narrow with just enough room to get in for two people. The door was fiberglass. It was a tan metallic color and the bodywork looked flawless. The cockpit was sort of unfinished though and I had to sit on a makeshift cushion. The ergonomics were a little shifty though and George had to sit on a hump provided for the rear axle and was a good 12" up in the air compared to myself who was sitting down low and just able to see out....like the height of a formula car.

It had a Removable Carson top which magically was on the car part of the ride and not on for part of the ride. As we rode along I noticed that the car did not have any inside rearview mirror. In a polite mood I did not point out any of the shortfalls in the execution of the car to George who was loving it.

On the ride, the car started to overheat and we pulled over at a place where we saw some folks were having an outside cookout and started to help ourselves to some water. While I was working on that the tall lady actress who played CJ Cregg on West Wing came over and helped me.

After filling the radiator I joined the party. George was pretenscously smoking two very large cigars, for some reason.... taking a puff from one then the other. He was working for Walt Disney at the time and Walt was at the party too.

Then I woke up and had to go to the toilet.

The detail of the Caddy was amazing in the dream and the other action was very detailed as well. It is amazing I could remember it long enough to write it up.

Fun dream!

To be able to remember current dreams at advanced middle age is a great thing.

I once met a person who had suffered a brain injury and had a constant reoccurring porn type dream. I thought what a miserable situation to live with. He told me it was totally repedative and not a single detail changed over the subsequent years. No I have never personally met Akim.

I love dreams like that. Enough material to keep a convention of psychoanalysts busy for a week.

That's cool, I rarely have dreams I can remember and if I do, there's little detail to it.
