The decision stems from a 2006 lawsuit filed when a boy was bitten while trying to pet a horse at a Milford farm.
Effing sue-happy people and the lawyers that enable them. Our politicians are already big on feel-good legislation, they don't need any help.

Ridiculous. Important life lesson for the child squandered by idiot parents who forget that horses are big powerful animals who may or may not enjoy being annoyed by a human child taking liberties.

The US is run by crazy people. That's what happens when people elect lawyers.

Horses have a practice, developed through untold millennia of evolution, of thwarting smaller mammals who want to get on their back and drain their blood.

I gather that one of their wilder cousins, zebras, are among the most dangerous animals at zoos, for staff anyway. I've heard that they will often bite people and not let go.

Gutted? Nah, I don't think it's that bad. I've seen the pics of some of the home arsenals.
