I love Gladwell's books. Whether you agree or disagree with him, his books are usually though-provoking. David and Goliath was a good book. Size can be an advantage or a disadvantage, whether you are larger or smaller than you opponent. The "obvious" advantage is not always an advantage as that story illustrates.

Hard to imagine that one could be that deadly accurate with such a weapon. Then again, if you'd been using it for years and your dinner depended on it, I guess you could get pretty good at it.

I heard portions of the TED talk on NPR. Fascinating. Interesting about the paintings of hurlers hunting birds with their slings.
