So lessee, landlords would turn a profit but because they CANNOT INCLUDE THE COST OF TAXES IN RENTAL FEES they're always in the red? Dude, that's the saddest thing I've ever heard.

Good Lord this is a tired red herring. One can note that the number of peoples on earth is more than the earth can reasonably sustain w/o advocating some soylent green solution.

I think the bottom line is that if we don't reduce numbers through lower birth rates, numbers will be reduced for us by famine, pestilence, or warfare, eventually. Every other sort of fauna has natural limits on the numbers they can expand to. Either predators or famine will lessen an excess.

We've used our big brains to (temporarily) get around that. The question is, can we now use our big brains to somehow fit within limits and still be happy as clams.

And no, I don't know who will set the limits or how that could be arrived at. It would be an approximation. My guess is that it will not happen, and that other factors will limit the global numbers of humans.

What exactly do you mean by "pollute"? Are we talking about your farts or nuclear waste or something in between? This is isn't something that can be answered with a YES or NO answer. Its a matter of degree.

@greazzerCattle emit a zillion tons of so-called greenhouse gas every year. Should the world's population become vegans ? The 6 billion plus humans on the planet create a great deal of waste by their collective #1 and #2. Should we start reducing our own numbers to reduce these wastes? Human's emit CO2, which is supposedly a pollution. The list goes on and on. However, one giant volacano blast emits more greenhouse gas than all us humans combined and then some. Should we invest in a giant cork ?
CO2 is not pollution, it's plant food. CO2 is close to the lowest levels it's been in the past 250 million years. It's just above the minimum 200ppm required to sustain vegetation. Global warming has nearly stopped for the past 17 years, yet the CO2 continues to rise. CO2 has very little to do with the planet's natural warming cycles.

Exactly true. Overpopulation is the biggest threat to the planet that humans pose. It's the toxic pollution that human activities release that's causing the problems, not the CO2. CO2 protests are a red herring distraction, paid for by the polluters, because polluting is very profitable, and sheeple are easily hoodwinked and distracted from the real problems.

The single most effective way to reduce population growth is through formal education of women. Look around the world for evidence of that correlation.

Water isn't pollution either, unless it is deeper than you are tall.

I think you misunderstood my statement, which was that technically renters do not actually pay property taxes through their rent payments. Although most rental property owners would not be making mortgage payments on the property if rents were not collected. That just simplifies it for the municipalities due the taxes they only need to collect from the landlord. It is the same as a pack of cigarettes, the smoker does not pay the tax, it is the tobacco company that pays the tax, and just passed on to the consumer. A simple way to look at it is that if a pack of smokes gets robbed from a store the Gov. already got their taxes from that pack.

The RIGHT to pollute? Hard to imagine that such a right was specifically granted in the constitution.

Whether or not there is such a right, to intentionally pollute to an irresponsible level such as dumping trash beside the road or pouring drained oil on the ground clearly indicates that the person doing so is an irresponsible, inconsiderate slob.

I poop, fat, pee and breathe. If I drink too much I do them all at once.

Why does it take drinking? And please, no photos nor explanations of you 'fatting'. No clue what that is but that can't be good
