A friend of my father asked me today if I was interested in buying his Porsche 912. He has a few Porsches and this is the one he gives the least attention. 1968, original a European market car. Black on black. Interior nicely redone. Repaint is old and was not a bare metal respray. Spider webbing and chips. Fuchs wheels. He rebuilt the motor himself except for the machining. belly pans and underbody are very solid. No rust to be found or undercoating that could cover that up.

The only reason for selling is for more room in the garage as he's getting more passionate for motorcycles. He offered it to me for $6000... My instinct was to "make it rain", but decided to sleep on it.

Anyone with experience? Thoughts?
