Unsolicited Advertisers!!
I don't get my drawers in a wad often, but I've about had it with dang unsolicited advertisers ! They call you at home all hours of the day and night, they invade your computer with pop up windows and now they're wasting my paper and toner on the fax machine. I have a new policy, I'm not buying ANYTHING from anyone that uses this kind of invasive advertising!! Even if I need it!!

You're right on the money -- these people are the scourge of humanity and should be eliminated by any means necessary. Personally, I don't think that prison time would be too harsh.

if they leave a return fax number on their junk fax, do the following:
fax them back a *black* sheet of paper. Twice. It will burn out their thermal printhead. |

phone solicitors
I don't get any phone solicitors with the exception of one in a great while. I typically respond to them in a way that makes THEM hang up. Think of a person gonig totally ballistic - to the point where you wonder if they're even sane. It works quite nicely
I also keep an unlisted number. This helps some as well. |

I used to get angry with phone solicitors, but ultimately I realized it is a job for them, and no doubt not one of their first choice. Now as soon as I find out it is a solicitor I say “no thank you and will you please take me off your calling list.” Then I thank them for their help and say good by. It is pleasant, and takes about 30 seconds, and I no longer get worked up by the intrusion.
It takes a little time but works well. Once off a calling list, when the list gets sold 50 million times you are not there ....Just a suggestion....

Ugh! I can't stand them! They call my cell phone now too!!! The NERVE! When they ask if I am DAVID FRACALOSY, I tell them YES. Then they ask me, "How are you doing today?" I tell them that I am not well, sick and dying, and to never call me again!

I pretend I am having a movment like an elephant and grunt and moan then when they want to hang up I keep THEM on the phone, telling jokes like A horse walked in a bar and the bartender said "why the long face"
