I said I wouldn't do it

When I first got my 1970 220D, I looked around, and said I wouldn't become one of these people with 10 cars.

I'm 6 months in and I now have two chassis, 7 doors, and 3 motors.

I think I get it now.

Don't ever get into motorbikes then.

You'll have 10 before you realize it.

How many are you up to? I'm at something between one and five depending on accounting methods. F800GS Adventure is still on the list, and the new Ducati Scrambler has got my attention...

Somewhere between three and five depending on accounting methods. I'm almost back to where I was last summer!

I've been contemplating picking up a Hypermotard as an adventure bike, but am hesitant because I don't think I'll use it enough. Since getting the 848, everything else has been parked. I was riding the 848 daily while the weather was tolerable - it was high-40s in the morning and mid-60s in the afternoon, but this week it started to drop back into the 30s, so I'm back in the car.

On my wish list:

696 monster
The same scrambler
09 bmw Xmoto
Ruckus 125
BMW FS800
Yamaha FZ6 or whatever they call the touring version of the R6.

I just sold my bikes and I'm driving a slow diesel and thinking about my actions...

I'll trade you my 848 for your slow diesel. I know the 848 is eventually going to get me in trouble, so a slow diesel is exactly what I need!

If you think it gets bad, read my signature.

But that's nothing. I know guys who have 60-90 cars.

1995 300D non turbo diesel = last year for the famed w124/diesel anvil reliability but expensive and rare & hard to find because their owners cherish them.

This picture indicates space for at least 75 additional vehicles. The more cars you have, the less grass needs to be cut
