Ultimate 'Badge engineering' Accessory

For those who already have already upgraded their badges and put the glowing LED lights on their washer jets and valve stems, here is a way to increase the 'performance image' of both your stereo and your car at the same time - an 8" subwoofer from Bazooka styled to look like a Nitrous injector bottle system, complete with chrome regulator and braided stainless injector line!

After you get it installed, maybe you can run over to http://www.girliegirlracing.com and see if you can find someone to impress. (I especially liked the 1978 280Z with the fiberglass Ferrari body kit. That must be the ultimate badge engineering)

I think it is super to have women involved in racing and modifying cars! I can't think of many women I could talk to about my favorite subject...In fact the number would be 0 (zero)...

Ed:

I found a woman to talk with about my car hobby, and married her! She used to help keep the farm equipment running, and worked on street rods with her brothers. She was a great fan of Pat Moss, the rally driver, (Stirling Moss' sister). I agree that it is wonderful for women to be involved, but the girliegirl site was offensive to me because it was about the 'girlie' and 'racer' image rather than the about drivers and cars. Lots of women involved in real racing and performance cars out there.

But plastic body parts to look like something they aren't (on the cars, at least!), and trying for a racer image without attempting the reality just doesn't cut it for me. While I only read a dozen or so bio's/photos, I didn't see one of the drivers on that site quoting 1/4 mile or track times, or describing their last DIY project. But hey, I guess I shouldn't knock their fan site. I just don't see where the racing in the site title comes into play when the site seems devoted to headlight bulbs, sub woofers, and clothing. It was too much like the Bazooka photo - pretending to be something that you aren't, without trying the reality!

That's odd, the pictures I saw had a few 1/4 mile times, etc.

In fact one Honda Accord posted 13.8 and over 100mph, that is impressive!

The one fact is though, the kids today spend a ton of money on foolish things like those air dams and spoilers, and subs...

When I was young, we were oh so cool with jacked up rear ends and jacked up front ends (Chrysler stuff).
Yeah, it was cool going down the road with the rear jacked so high you had to brace yourself from sliding off the front of the seat... Yeah, that's it... ya, we wuz cool

I guess kids as a whole don't have a clue yet (or then) but I encourage them and their whole scene if it keeps the after market busy and helps rescue some more old cars. They will mature and restore great old cars when they can afford it (or not afford it, he he).

I just wish they would get over the gangsta rap crap and the subwoofer nonsense...

How can anyone even THINK of putting a "Daewoo" on a "racing" website?!?! That website is ridiculous, even by rice-racer standards! What a joke!
