Couple teaser shots have been released and...unsurprisingly (to some) it looks exactly like the camo car...

And here it is. I like it, not a crazy departure from the 2015.

I have a feeling panzzer will be disappointed.

so another "all new" carrot on a string, looks like new plastic front and reap bumper covers and a new hood........
Hell I coulda done that, if the friggin pig was worth a bucket of warm spit.

I probably WOULD have already done that.

I was hoping for something I could work with, like I used to do when they were cool.

Don't necessarily disagree, but i don't mind the design. It's a big car though, just looks a bit ungainly. I'll be keeping my saturn for a while.

[QUOTE=panZZer;3476080]Some of my earliest childhood recalection's are,
Standing outside the Hemisfair in San Antonio looking up at the tower.

playing with the purple car on the driveshaft hump of the Plymouth belvedere while mom was shopping at Plymouth park shopping center in Irving.

The vacation trip to Monterrey-- I mainly remember Horsetail Falls. ( this was before an idiot got into the white house and started the War On Drugs that we are still realing with in 2015). People used to feel safe driving their family to Mexico and horsetail falls -everyone had to see that.

And in 1967-a muggy day. My father took me to see "stock car races" at a nearby track -the place was called Smithville, and its not on any map anymore. The day apparently altered my life-I was only obsessed with my purple car before then..........................

Every little kid knew what a mustang was, even if we didn't know anything about ford chevy etc.
Anyhow the races were actually the Tranz am series at Bill Helchiers Green Valley Raceway----one of the tranz am races was run in NE Tarrant county Tx just like riverside, lime rock and the other well known tracks.

there were mustangs--like Carrol Shelbys terlingua racing team --it was not a Shelby gt350, and it got wrecked by the driver.
there were some other cars there, the new ones that sorta looked like a mustang, there were Cougars, and then there was the --carmo?

it was the coolest thing I had ever seen, it was the Blue Flash,

yrs and yrs later when I was a supermarket bagboy (saving up for my first Camaro) I saw pics and -did not recall at the time. It was the Penske Donohue Sunoco 67 Z28 with the yellow 5 spoke mags that I had witnessed that day when I was a child.

here is a link back to that day.

Now that Ive thought about it,What I can say about the new one, its slightly less pretentious -in not trying to be a 69 cartoon car, Its as if chevverrolet did things like
Aston Martin~ and the car had evolved with refinement rather than radical copying of -whoever, Italians, then the japanese.

It might have ended up similar to where it is now.
