The second day after getting my first car.. a MERCEDES! I went online and tried to look up info on my car... and found this site

Some people here were VERY nice.. and others were mean.. but overall.. the people are nice:p

I'd been searching the net for info about my power aerial and the name just kept coming up on various sites.So I thought what the hell it can't be any worse than some of the places I'd visited!I might not ever win the lottery,but I'm damn glad I found this place It's saved me a small fortune.
I visited this place on and off for about a year as a guest before I actually joined.One of my better decisions was this decision Bear

I found it the day I got my 1st computer!!! I owned a lovely 91' 190 2.3 that had only 60k or so miles on it and I needed info on the strange starting in 2nd gear thing!! I searched yahoo and here it was! Wow! I cant believe that has been almost 3 yrs and about 4 MB ago. It has been much fun.:p

Donnie Drummonds (Benzmac) and Bill Woods (Webmaster)started this great virtual shop. I was invited to come on over and check the place out by Donnie when I was looking for answers on the rec.alt.autos.mercedes newsgroup.

A simple question that was met with BS answers, Donnie's response was something to the effect of - for answers to your question come on over, it will be answered in short order. I figured what the hey, came on over and have never gone back to the newsgroup for anything.

BTW: I got correct info, in a matter of minutes, on the question I was asking. Ain't this a great place ?

Somehow found this site again and never left. :-)

It all started when I found an add for a 500E in a magazine and realized my dream car was affordable.

I decided to search for information and found Mercedeshop through a 500E web site kind of by accident, I was hooked immediately.

I'm positive that I would not have purchased a 500E had I not found this site.

So I have to say thank you to the creators for making it possible to get my dream car and when I need parts I'll be sure to help pay for this site.

Member AKRY, who I ahve known for years online playing computer games with, led me here when I told him I was buying a benz. Without this site, I'd be lost and I wouldn't have been able to meet everyone and interact with such wonderful people, like the ones who use this site.

I found this site after I inherited my father's 87 300E. I lurked in the wings for a few months after joining in early 1999, reading everything I could. My first posts were asking about routine maintenance concerns on a neglected car, the Sportline suspension, and waxing!

I've been learning continuously and unfailingly entertained ever since!

then i forgot about this until i started looking for euro lights, i've never been able to leave.

I found it through David Lefebvre's Mercedes Mailing List. Great and all, but MBCA political discussions weren't my cup of tea, now.

I'm surprised that more mailing listers haven't surfed over here.
