Bid it To win it!!!

Surfing around and came across a CL ad from Dallas 3 months ago,A gold 1980 300cd mercedes with a 5.6 motor swapped in from a late 80s 560sl,the price , $3000. Today I visited getusedcar.net and see the exact same car with different rims and tires perhaps to disguise from previous adds on CL,the new SITE add presents the car with invested work of over $30k.Sounds to me like someone bought this car and is now flipping it with some creative history accounts from previous owners. You can see it on their 1st page at,getusedcar.net .Just thought I would warn the MB peachparts crowd .

LOL...myself, I proud to proclaim that I've never spent more than $24,000 on a set of wheels. Frugal-minded and all that rot.

I think the most I've ever spent for a set of wheels is two sets of taillights, one set of headlights, and a grille.

Looks nice but what about the interior and a few shots of the engine. I'd have to assume all that is not pretty and bid accordingly.

What Dare Tell do you think the problem with the starter is ,funny how expressive all the selling points are but the known problems such as "the starter hangs up sometimes" are given as "not sure whats up with that", a glarring big hidden problem is my guess .If its a bad flywheel, replacing it would be north of 2k.The CL Dallas add gave that car a price of $3000. for reasons of someone understanding what some of the underlying problems were from the beginning and priced it accordingly, The sugar coating job on this add is just sickning.
