I love that you actually have to kill it front of a federal inspector. Yeah, that's super practical.

That's true as I sit here in Canada nibbling on my dog sandwich. I do not think it is legal to eat cat up here but have not checked. I also did not check the exact wording in the 44 American states that apparently allow it. I vaguely remember some quote in the distant past by an American that something tastes like chicken?

Actually it does not depress me seeing what is going on as much as concern me how it is negatively impacting younger families. We are at the edge of breaking into a two level society. Or have already passed it.

Those that can aquire property and those that have little to no chance of affording it.

Not owning your own dwelling can have implications when you reach retirement age especially. It was always considered a forced savings item tied to inflation. The old your home was your castle concept so to speak.

We also seem to have another new division. A growing percentage of the population seem to make far too much for their skill levels. While a larger percentage are historically earning less than ever with inflations effects. The high level of real unemployment that everyone seems to have become comforatable with unless you are without employment is yet another.

I am of course still thankful in general as I have been for quite awhile that things are still holding together such as they are.

I've seen such videos. I've also seen cats, dogs, fish, frogs, birds, snakes, sea cucumbers, pigs, shellfish bigger than my head, and lots of other critters taken from completely alive to served on the plate during my travels in China.

I'd rather eat any of the critter meat than a mcnugget.

Canada Shifts to the Left.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/21/world/americas/elections-canada.html?_r=0

Mr. Trudeau has promised some major policy changes, among them legalizing marijuana, dropping out of the American-led bombing campaign against the Islamic State and deficit spending to pump up the economy and rebuild infrastructure.

Justin Trudeau is the oldest child of former Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau.

Nothing but a glamour show. He'll linger around like his dad and wreck the place for quite a while...

It is going to be interesting up here in Canada for awhile. Even more interesting will be watching Trump perform if he eventually gets in south of us.

As usual many important things up here in Canada will not be addressed. They never seem to be under any political parties banner.

I no longer know what the truth is but pulling Canadian jets out of the middle east seems to be on the active agenda already.. No reports to the Canadian public at all basically of how they have or what they have been doing.

We will be leaving behind the seventy five members of the Canadian forces that are training rebels for the time being it appears. How we can train rebels and then bomb them makes little sense.

A bizzare make work project as they deflect to ISIL when training is over. ISIL just pays trained mercenaries better.

Harper lost the election simply because too many normally pretty placid Canadians like myself no longer trusted him. He and his party just totally lost the moral grounds to manage this country.

Apparently the new PM doesn't care for the US F-35

F-35 - Fortune

If Trudeau follows through on the promise, Canada will lose the $150 million already invested in the F-35’s development, and Lockheed would lose what would have been billions of dollars in sales to the Royal Canadian Air Force (and likely millions more on follow-on contracts for ongoing maintenance).
