So, an update:

Ball joints are good. CV axles are good.

Strut mounts definitely making some noise. Most bushings in the front end squeaking one way or another.

So I'm thinking of a full front-end rebuild over the next 6 months or so. Just replace a couple parts at a time.

Some of the Camrys (not sure what years) had a clunking issue with the u-joint in the steering column. Might be worth a look.

I'll be pretty close by when I do the clutch next week... why not?
