It is a completely unique design with very few right angles in the floor plan and sculptural stuff everywhere. Very entertaining.

I'd do it for $125. Probably not for the $250 price at the other one.

more pics...the bar with FLW designed stools, tables and chairs, the room with two walls of windows and no right angles in the floor plan, and the elevator lobby. Each floor had four rooms on it and three elevators. The elevator cabs had no right angles either and had room for one with a bag or two. Amazingly impractical. Probably the least practical of any Wright design I have ever seen and one of the most delightful.

His hair looks weird, though it did not in person. From the front he looked normal too.

I have been to the Price Tower many times. There was once a cafe there called the Copper Room or something. Very high dollar and popular with the Phillips Petroleum honchos.

But Phillips merged with Conoco and all the high dollar jobs moved out of town. I think Copper might still be there but as just as bar.

But the Price Tower is so unusual that unless you have been there it is hard to describe. Did you notice the fire escapes? They are built into the exterior of the building so well that unless you know where to find then they can't be seen from the outside. Or the inside.

There is also a FLW house located on a bunch of land south of town on Silver Lake Road. I have never seen it but it is supposed to be an amazing place. The story is after seeing the Price Tower some oil guy contacted FLW to build his house.

Price, by the way, was in the pipeline construction business. When he needed a new building he contacted Frank Phillips, of Phillips, Inc., and asked him who he would recommend for his new building. Frank said to do what he always did: Go for the best you can afford. That meant FLW.

A great place to stay in Bartlesville if you are just looking for a hotel is the Hilton downtown. It is across from the Phillip's office tower.

Massive rooms and everything you could want in a hotel. And the prices are good, too.

That almost looks like a right angle left of the door to the right of the fountain, last photo ...

And should you find yourself in Bartlesville you can walk right up to the building and check it out. This is valid 24/7.

The place is well lit and there is ample security. You can't go in if the place is closed but no one seems to mind if you walk right up to the front doors and look in at the Art Deco designs in the lobby.

After all, this is a FLW skyscraper. The owners expect people to be curious about it.

And the entire area is one that could be considered a safe one. There are several 7-11 type stores in the area and the area is just north of an upscale housing area.

And if you are there during the day then go a few blocks south and check out Frank Phillip's home. It is open for tours and you will see how the very wealthy lived during the 1920's and 1930's.
