Pretty scary stuff to be that small or smaller. Slightly smaller kid and he might actually be dinner

My dad used to have a harris hawk that he hunted rabbits and squirrels with. His bird attacked a deer and a turkey once. He obviously couldn't take either one. His last attempt was a rattlesnake.

That is not surprising. Hawks are VERY fierce

I give excess roosters to a guy here locally who is a falconer. They are a wonder to watch. The falcons. The roosters well, not so much.

I once opened the the freezer and thought I found tasty treats. Nope. It was bag of dead baby chicks. I'm scarred.
