I have a photo of my car but I can't figure out how to include it in my post to the forum....the photo lab included a CD with my film development.....it has a Canon Photo Effects program with it and I can't size the image to fit on my post. Any suggestions to help me out????? By the way, I'm computer illiterate, so please make any suggestions VERY simple.

Thanks John,so if I have this right I have to create a web site to take my pics to?I still have the problem with the images being too large.When I put them on the web site can I make them smaller there or do I do that before I transfer them?I'm a 'point & click' user so all this stuff is a little too deep.Any others have this problem(image sizing not lack of skills),any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, you don't have to create a web site. Your provider probably has something along the size of 5 Megabites set aside for you to use (to post a web site). Call your provider and verify.

Then using an FTP (file transfer protocol) program you will send your picture to "your" space. The address would look something like /http://www.your_isp.com/~your_log_in_name, then once posted to your space the address will look like /http://www.your_isp.com/~your_log_in_name/file_name.jpg.

Then just plug that address into you post sandwiched between the img and /img (which are inside of the squared brakets [ ] ) and you have pictures.

I had to reduce the image to passport size(and get my wife to help,love ya dear )and it seems distorted but it worked.Now I'll be able to get some pictures for the FAQ page Bill .
