Personally - I've had a few Powerstrokes (6.4, 6.0, and 7.3), Cummins (5.9, and 6.7), and Duramax (LBZ, LMM, and LB7 and LL7). The Duramax was the best to live with on a daily basis. The best of the bunch (all of 'em) was my 06 LBZ - no problematic emissions stuff to worry about and had all of the bugs worked out of them! My 06 LBZ with 6 speed Allison was easily the best truck I owned! Even jacked up on 38s with stock gearing it would tow anything without a hiccup.
