I've been bitten by the speed bug.

I was late for the bus, running at a good speed and missed it. My brother took the 300SDL to work, as I was running, a guy in 350z told me the bus was gone, I verbally acknowledged him turned around and walked home.

To my surprise he offered me ride, never having ridden in a sports car this thing was FAST to me. He just effortlessly shifted the gears, each pull just sinks you into the seat. I mean it was effortless speed, the seats where comfy too.

After this experience, I'm highly considering a sports car now.

Don't forget to grease the screw and threads on the spring compressor.

did this guy have a white fur covered hat with a turkey feather sticking out of it?

Beware of rides from strangers loitering at bus stops in sports cars.

If you think a 350Z is fast, try on an AMG.

On a good day, a 350Z will sprint to 60 in ~5.2 seconds and through the quarter in ~13.8 seconds... My E55 will sprint to 60 in ~4.1 seconds and blast through the quarter in ~12.4 seconds... But after I strap a few go fast parts onto it, I'm hoping for a mid 3-second sprint to 60 and 10s. lol

Motorcycles are the cheapest way to go fast! You can get a liter bike for 1-2k, then 500 for tires, 500 for gear, and you're beating everything on the road.

Dunno, I spent less on my E55!

More seriously though - when it comes to getting a rush from going fast, nothing really does beat the rush of a liter bike at WOT. The E55 is fast, but my old Ducati was scary fast!
