Mods - is there a new problem with this website?

Mods - threads are disappearing for me (with the new changes to the website?).

A few days ago I posted a new thread in the Off Topic section called "Workaround for Sony wireless speaker "(close). It never showed up under new posts but could be found only by doing a search under tyl604.

I posted a new thread called "Where is my post?" a day or two ago. It never showed up either.

Today I saw a response to the second thread which said something like "is this it?" Diseasel300 says he can see it and asks why I cannot see it.

Now that thread and response is gone; cannot find it anyplace without using the Search function; should be in new posts but is not showing. Thread #2 and Thread #1 are still nowhere to be found except by using the Search function.

Any idea what is the problem? Are others having the same problem?

Not sure what is happening. At least this one showed up about twelve hours later. That means I should be able to see Off Topic threads without being required to do a search.

There is something wrong with this website now. This morning at about 9AM I posted a reply to a thread called "...low hanging fruit." Usually you will see the reply in a few minutes. It is now almost twelve hours later and that reply still does not show when I ask for new posts.

Mods - is this a volume problem or is something else causing the delay? Has not ever been that way over the ten or so years that I have been posting here.

Your reply to the "low hanging fruit" thread (see above) showed up for me yesterday, and I can still see it now. Is it possible your computer's clock is set incorrectly, or that you've changed some other setting, perhaps on your browser? I ask only because I've seen you post about this issue several times now, but it's not a problem anyone else seems to be having...

My clock is OK downstairs but I will look upstairs. Nothing has changed on the browser and I am using Chrome.

To be more specific - in the past I could post a reply and see it almost instantly. Now it may take two or three days. Same with starting a new thread; maybe a few days before it shows up unless I do a Search.

Will be interested to see how long it takes this reply to show. Good test. Time now is 5:01PM on Sept 24.

Good idea.

This reply at 5:01PM showed up pretty quickly though.

The other related thread "Testing where is my thread" is still missing. Looked through all ten pages listed at the bottom of my page and it was not anyplace. Not in new posts and not in old posts. The only way I could find it was to use the Search function.
