No doubt some if not many Americans are brave guys in my mind.... If we had a gun in the house. The wife would probably shoot me.
It still is odd to me that the use of knives seems to have been increasing steadily. Just somethig I have observed. Even the guy that slammed into the barricade exited his car with a knife. To me this indicates the state of minds may be changing. A knife is an up close and personal weapon. Where guns tend to be personal extensions of power. I look at many events and have to wonder what the level of intelligence is. In almost all cases nothing is really changed. Almost all are driven by frustation. Or they would use guns. |

Quote:
Motovations so hard to comprehend. They say we need a gentler society and may be right. If he was just mad at the world why shoot the child? For what it is worth. Excessive density of a population is not a good thing. It allows people with real problems to go unnoticed. We grew up in big cities and it is true. You do not even know your neighbors usually. Where here we know most people.Another oddity is in higher populations. In a strange way the individuals perception of others is also different. As in high density areas you are more likely to be isolated and feel helpless. Strange as that may sound . Why helpless? Everything is too structured for the so called common good. Making options hard to impossible to exercise sometimes. Many northern once famous cities in America. Are and have been in serious decline. Not picking on America by the way. My guess is that larger cities have no real sense of community. Where you pretty well have to in an area like where we reside. There is currently an exodus of people from Canada's largest city to our region.First time ever.Started just before the virus did. I have not talked to enough of the new arrivals on why they left yet.. I can surmise some of the reasons being from there myself over forty years ago. Yet at this point I do not have a clear picture. Part of the problem is that province has been loading up on unbelievable amounts of debt. They arrivals may be escaping from it being constantly downloaded on them. The arrivals seem to be long established Canadian families. Something bad has happened there to trigger this sudden influx. I do know that with a five bedroom house forty years old. We pay 650.00 a year property taxes. Same house in the Toronto areas. Twenty thousand a year possibly. Certainly no less than fifteen thousand. I would have to start asking myself who owns the house anyways? Plus the property taxes just keep increasing there. The traffic is murder and getting worse all the time there. Here we have none. Our cottage is 17 miles away. Where there you drive hours if you can even afford one there and the property taxation on it. Few can anymore. Increasing crime and violence is now far too common there as well. Plus the infustructure has not kept up with the growth. It is becoming insanity personified. To get in here they are bidding far higher than asking prices.Cottage sales have also approached the insane. Still nothing like Ontario. Even the common parking meter has not arrived yet. |

Dream with substance? Dreaming all night of eating marshmallows. Awaken to find the pillows are gone?
So long ago I cannot remember. I met an individual that had suffered a substantial physical brain injury. He replayed the same exact dream every night without exception he claimed. He asked me what I thought. I told him it was all in his mind. This is a true story incidentally and I felt his condition would be hard to live with. The subconcious seems quite able to generate very stressful things sometimes in the dream state. Odd to me as one would think the brain would prefer to rest. Your expiring in a dream will wake you. A concept even the subconcious cannot deal with? I am not sure how I know this. Then there is the concept of sleepwalking. Fortunatly it is not universal. The one time I woke up standing beside the bed ready to urinate. Was my sole experience and enough of one. |

I used to sleep walk as a kid. I find myself in mildly dangerous situations in my dreams. I eventually wake up and find I need to go to the toilet. Very rarely, a few times probably in my life, I dream of actually passing water and find I have actually passed a little in the bed.

Your profession may make you dream a little deeper than average. As you have had to semi force yourself to imagine so much on projects. Over the years.
There have been far more than a hand full of dreams I have been happy to get out of. Plus some I would have not minded persisting longer. |
