Spot shortages across the most impacted states are rising. According to the latest data from GasBuddy, 15.4% of Georgia fuel stations are wiped out, while almost 60% of stations in the metro Atlanta area are empty.

In North Carolina and South Carolina, 24.8% and 13.4% of stations are empty, respectively. In Virginia, 15% of stations are without fuel.

What a shame! The Jim Crowers will have to wait a week before driving to their next klan get-together.

That would be akin to me accusing everyone in Oregon and Washington State to be antifa. At least take those political comments to the section of Pelican Parts in which they are welcome.

There was never any shortage. The "attack" hit their accounting system, not anything associated with the pipeline or its operation. They shut it down because there was no way to account for deliveries.

Much like if the cash registers at your favorite chain of restaurants were broken, would you expect them to give out food for free or have customers write an IOU on a piece of paper by honor system?

I've met some great people from the Carolinas. One of the best writers and thinkers (left of center) I've encountered on the interwebs posts over in the Off Topic Pol. and Religion forum and he's from NC.
