There is the story of the older man who bought a sports car and was out driving at over 100 mph. He saw a police car with blue lights flashing so he pulled over. The police officer said “I have 10 minutes left on my shift, if you can provide me with a good reason why you were driving so fast, I will let you go.” The old man replied “ years ago my wife ran off with a policeman. I thought you were bringing her back”. The old man drove off without a ticket.
