It appears the driver is in there, mostly covered with a white sheet. That armco is unforgiving if hit hard like this one was.

FWIW this is a relatively common guardrail failure and scenario -- to the point that there are conspiracy theories involving intentional failure. Those folks are lucky to be alive, many do not make it through a crash like that.

Way back in the early 1970's I watched a guy burn to death in a Chevy Vega after doing this on i10 in the Desert ~ he hit -so- hard the car was lifted about 10 feet in the air, no chance yo get him free before the car was consumed with flames .

Not surprising there are conspiracy theories / stories about this, as stated is rather common and conspirators have little thinking ability .
