Those places are all 3-4 hrs away. I don't think anyone wants a rabbit that bad.

I know people who do animal rescue who travel all over Ca. My friend’s sister drove from SF to San Diego to rescue a pet. Suggest following the links and asking for help. They may travel to help trap humanly.

This is the best episode so far so stay tuned. I finally trapped the big cinnamon one. It wandered into my barn and I quickly closed the doors. Went and borrowed a trap, baited it with all kinds of rabbit goodies, chummed the area and watched while the rabbit turned up his nose. Then I remembered the FOTEDR (Friends of the escaped domestic rabbits) were feeding it and it was full. Left it overnight with the trap closed (so it would not get injured if trapped) and as I thought it was hungry the next day. Using the same bait I slowly fed it into a trashcan on it's side and as soon as it was inside I flipped it up and put on the lid. Someone on CL wanted it.
