I still remember watching The Sting when I was much younger. The two of them were incredible actors and they seemed, from what I have seen, like good people.

Redford seems to have a good life and he left much to be proud of.

We watched "All the President's Men" just last night, to wake up the next morning and read about his passing. Great man and a magnificent actor. A life well lived.

We had met on several occasions, he surprised me in his accurate recollection of our first meeting , after a period of 15 years between bumping into each other again. Just a sincerely nice guy who could connect with others.

One thing's for sure, he was a good looking man, if nothing else. 89 yrs is a good run. I sometimes get the "look-alike" comment from strangers when out and about, now that our looks have coincided to a degree.

I seem to recall that he was a staunch leftist.

He sure aged in his last years of life.....one of his better photos.
