Strange story, I could see you might feel as though you were being kidnapped if the driver would not pull over and let you out. But it does sound like he overreacted.

Amazing how everybody thinks they want to be a star. It looks like it screws a lot of people up. Hard to imagine how weird it would be to be famous. Strange people coming up and gushing all over you, thinking they know you, wanting a piece of you. I produced a halfway famous guy in 5 concerts in Washington state years ago, didn't make much money, but I liked the guy and I got to spend some time with him. He told me some horror stories about groupies, both having succumbed and having declined. Another thing a lot of guys think they really would like to have. I gather it can really mess with your head.
