He was quite a guy. Very versatile. The miniseries "Broken Trail," later released as a DVD long movie (3 hours) was pretty good IMO. Had a really good look at some of the dark side of human nature, of the west - low budget pimps, brothels, women being enslaved for life virtually. The part of it that's any good, that is.
