Enter-->Marketing and public relations. I would think the dealership would not pursue "proof" in many cases because they don't want to give the public the impression that they are "bad guys." The last thing they need is to have people who are afraid to come to their dealership and take a test drive on top of any bad press. t is interesting the twists and turns the law can take based on outside factors and the motivations of others. There seems to be a lot more to it than just a bunch of statutes and laws. "Tanks" for the responses, I personally have learned quite a bit on this thread.
