Nice to be back!
Hi,
After a few months of being away from the forum I'm back! I've had to sell the 300SE, but I'm in the market for another. Just found this one, not sure of mileage, but will check tomorrow: http://www.gflemingandsons.co.uk/cars_for_sale/car_details.asp?VRM=J317LLM&SearchMakeId= How is everyone anyways?

Are you back on the other side of the pond now? I thought you were going to keep us posted on your travels about the U.S. I thought you'd forgot about us .

Come on Mike! Forget about you guys?? Never!
The SE had to go to fund my trip to America. I managed to see New York, parts of Virginia and Washington DC. Then my money ran out so I had to go home and get a job I'm half way through the recruitment process for the Police at the moment which should be interesting!! I'll keep you all up to date on my Mercedes sitution (or lack of!). All the best, P.S. How's the 560SEL coming along Mike?

Good question, what is that thing next to the W126?!
Thought it was a Kia, but its not on the website, or a Perodua (mercifully, neither are common cars in England) but the Perodua fan club (no joke) at perodua.co.uk doesn't show this beauty either. Either way.. I'd be wary of anywhere selling one alongside a W126!!! Seriously though, car looks good, hope you enjoy. How'd you find D.C. and being an Englishman in N.Y.? I went to in 1 week a few months ago, both are like nothing you could find in England! later!

"Hyundai Atoz"!!!!
http://www.gflemingandsons.co.uk/cars_for_sale/car_details.asp?VRM=T448KJN&SearchMakeId= Looks odd. Over here, small Jap cars are very common (don't know why!!). NY York was amazing. I've been there a couple of times before, but each time I'm totally amazed!! I didn't spend much time in DC, but it was beautiful, especially the White House at night! Oddly enough, i spent the most of my time in Richmond in Virginia, drinking in a British run pub called the Penny Lane! All in all though it was the best time of my life, you people really do live in the best country in the world!!!!!!!!! Anyways, hopefuly the next 300SE should be purchased within the next month or so!! I'll keep you all up to date

Well, do keep us posted on prospective purchases and thanks for asking about the 560. It's doing great, outside of the A/C idler pulley and bearing going south on me. Luckily I caught it before throwing the pulley and teh car is driveable, although without A/C. I just finished a week long detail that required 160 mile round trip daily, and the 560 gave me a steady 18 MPG for the 1K miles I drove (half of each way was stop and go rush hour traffic).
