Snibble.....I love your post!!!

The songs you have on there are great especially DJ Mangoo. Eurodance is my favourite and whoever likes it should check out

Dj Boozywoozy-party affair
Sash - Ecuador (fav and makes me drive fast)
Pharoa - there is a star
Floorfilla - anthem #2
Safri Duo - Played alive (this is a good one!!)
Barthezz - on the move (really good for driving)
Afika Bambataa - feel the vibe

Anyone heard or have these?

Secondly, holy *****, I'd never heard of DJ Mangoo... but man, is that a great dj!! I am now absolutely in love with them..... what great music!!!!! Thx for the recommendation!

Hey..

Well, there are 2 versions of "We're in heaven". One is a faster beat techno version, and the other is a slow version. The slow vesion by the way is a great slow dance song to dance with your honey

Im also glad you like DJ Mangoo... he's not that famous, or atleast I don't think he is, but he has AWESOME mixes. I can listen to his songs over and over again and still not get bored.

By the way. you like DJ Sammy?

take care

I have everything from Beethoven to Die Krupps in my CD case in the car. Most often though, I'm playing music from the Pure Moods series of CD's. I like to be mellow and relaxed while driving. I set the ole' cruise control on the highway and never worry about my speed.

I just installed a Blaupunkt CD/MP3 player in the 03 VUE since it is my primary vacation and travel car. It sounds great, looks great, and will allow me to carry MORE music in the car than what I currently have - and that's alot!

Not bad of a selection, BenzOnline

Also... a recommendation for the "bass-aholics", check out "Loud and Proud" by Brooklyn Bounce. Its a pretty popular song played at the club I was at in Europe.

Makes two of us (again, no offense to everyone else). I never cared for rap, techno, or, really, any modern music... I'm 21 and, after reading everyone elses' posts, am feeling very old (I have no idea whatsoever what most of these people are talking about)...most stuff I listen to was written and recorded before I was born (although, again, there are some '80's metal bands that I like)...

Mike, it's amazing that someone else knows who Robert Johnson is. Next question, who's John Paul Jones (besides a Revolutionary War naval legend)? How about Robby Krieger or Ray Manzarek?

BTW, Carlos Santana graduated from the same high school that I did...San Jose High class of '69 (I was class of '99)...

No offense to anyone, but I dont think their is anyone "young" on this board judging by that music.

Snibble, did you hear that dance song of Eminem's without me?

I thinks its called "drunkenmonkey" Type that in the song title search and you should find it. Its amazing!!!!

Clapton-any. But Lay Down Sally is great to motor to, as is Rollin' & Tumblin'

Also, Santana & Mana - Corazon Espinado (thankfully I speak Spanish so know what it says) from SuperNatural

Lastly, Rolling Stones - Under My Thumb

Let me see...stuff that I like to listen to:

When I just want to chill:

"Room For Squares"-John Mayer,
"Live in Europe '72"-Grateful Dead,
"Live at Red Rocks"-Dave Matthews Band;
Greatest Hits of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers,
"Endtroducing"-DJ Shadow
"Kind of Blue" Miles Davis
"Head Hunters" Herbie Hancock

When I definitely do NOT want to chill:

"Back in Black" AC/DC
"Use Your Illusion v.1" Guns N Roses
"1984" Van Halen (Panama probably should only be listened to in a 1983 Porsche 911 Targa in Porsche (Guards) red, in all fairness. Nothing else seems right!)
"Ready to Die" Notorious B.I.G.
"The Chronic: 2001" Dr. Dre
"Southernplayalisticadillacfunkymusic" Outkast

When I'm rolling with friends:

"Ten" Pearl Jam
"Vitalogy" Pearl Jam
"Aquemini" Outkast
"Devil Without A Cause" Kid Rock
"August and Everything After" Counting Crows
"Blazing Arrow" Blackalicious

For driving HELLA fast:

"The Bends" Radiohead (I don't know why, but it always comes on when I drive fast)
"I Get Wet" Andrew W.K.
"Frampton Comes Alive" Peter Frampton (We hit triple digits on our way to Canada in my friend's mom's Mercury Villager while listening to this)
"Veni Vedi Vicious" The Hives
"Toys in the Attic" Aerosmith
"Temple of the Dog" Temple of the Dog (members of Soundgarden and what would become Pearl Jam, in case you aren't up on your Seattle grunge-rock history).

These are only a few of my favorite albums, but sum up my taste pretty well
