Cool Whats your favorite song while driving?

Just curious as to what you guys like to listen to while driving. For me, it depends on what kind of mood I am in that day. I either listen to Eurodance/techno or westcoast hip hop... various others too!

A sample of my favorite songs I listen to while driving...

I'm Raving - Scooter (one of my fav's)
Eurodance -DJ Mangoo
How Much is the Fish-Scooter
We're in Heaven(techno version) - DJ Sammy (check this one out!)

Welcome to Atlanta - Ludacris
How do you want it - Tupac
Whats my name -Snoop Doggy Dogg
Still Dre - Dr.Dre

Isn't Scooter the "Screeeeaming Loooord!"???

If so, I dig the f*ck the millenium song he does. The problem with techno/trance is that it encourages you to drive fast. My friends and I refer to it as speeding ticket trance.

I actually once saw a study done on how music can affect the way you drive. Basically, it concluded that more bpm (beats per minute) the more aggressive, risky, and fast the driving. I enjoy trance (can't really fit any more beats in a minute) and reggae (a beat just about every other minute) primarily in the car and I believe that this is accurate.

That said, my favorites are:
The harder they come - Jimmy Cliff
Skokiaanen - Louis Armstrong
Sandstorm - Darude (even though it's pretty played out this one is still good to pop in)

No specific favorite song to listen to on the road, but I mainly stick to older rock n' roll (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, the Doors, etc, with a little bit of more modern stuff like Guns n' Roses and Metallica stuck in there). I just need a CD player (actually, at this point, I'll settle for a working tape player )...my choice of music leaves only a few stations to really choose from, and it's not horribly uncommon for all of them to either be on commercials or playing something I don't like...

I love trance as well, especially in the car!

I think "That Guy" is right about this study, I seem to get a bit too much adrenaline pumping when I listen to trance in the 500......and trust me it's hard enough not to go fast even when your listening to reggae.

I was pointed to a website by one of the members of benzsport for a trance radio station, I can now download all the songs using streamripper and convert them into CD's. Can't wait to get a MP3 player in the car and have 400 songs on one disc! You gotta love the internet for that.

Daniel Bedingfield - GOTTA GET THROUGH THIS (Radio Edit)

I get sick of songs so easily, it's annoying! But this one I have probably heard 150 times and I'm still loving it! It makes me drive WAY too fast though!!!

ALso another good new one is "Sk8er Boi" by Avril Lavigne.
One more I recommend would be a song called "Hypnotize" by DJ Markski.
Also, the House song Inspector Gadget is pretty crazy!

SNIBBLE,
I'm downloading the techno remix right now... I hope it's good!

(Way tight post !! )

This'll fit right in with all of the music mentioned so far (NOT! )
I still like loud rock, ect. I'm not THAT old yet! But I find more and more I like something a bit more relaxing while I'm driving. I have a VERY wide taste of music. From Rammstein to Kiri Te Kanawa(Go ahead guys. Figure out who she is. I dare ya!)
Anyhow, to the point. I listen to mostly Sarah Brightman any more. Maybe it has something with driving a deezel Benz

Cool

I like all kinds of music when I drive. I really believe that techno/trance whatever you call it these days gets me driving faster than normal. But so does Rock n Roll. If I have Guns n Roses in, then forget it ! I want to go 100mph. For my long trips to work I like stuff like Dead Can Dance, it goes well with the mountain scenery. I love Jazz, but only for short trips. If I'm coming home from work with Jazz on, I may very well fall asleep. I just got back from Yellowstone and it was maybe six hours from my house, I played Def Leppard all the way! (I am not ashamed of my 80's metal bands at all.)

i listen to a wide variety of music but i find that driving narrows down my choices. i can't listen to most classical music on the road. lately, i've been listening to lotsa blues - i guess a reflection of everything that's going on right now. clapton, stevie ray vaughan, the 3 kings and the rest of my blues collection. when i want to get myself in a better mood i'll put on bill withers "a lovely day" at full blast - sometimes it works...
