Hello fellow MB heads.

A little shameless self-promotion never hurt anyone, so here goes:

For those who might be interested, my band is putting out our second album in February, and we have started booking tour dates. So far there are dates in TN, LA, TX, and FL. Many more to come.

WoW!! Didn't know you had a band... what do you play? How did you start up, I'm tempted to start a band sometime soonish... but I've only thought about it so far.

The mp3s on the site sounded great (modem is still smoking, though :p)
I just bought your CD on amazon, but it's a 4-6 week dispatch time

I Guess you're not readily available in the UK..

So I suppose I have to wait till then, huh?

I didn't realize that was a free show...that's always good! We've never played there before...is that fair a large event?

Hello! I've been a drummer for about 18 years...was a music major in college, etc...Been doing it for a LONG time. My current band is on our 2nd record deal...the first label that we were on (when we did the 1st record that you just ordered) was pretty useless, but we got a great sounding record out of the deal, and did some great tours, so it wasn't all bad. This time around is looking like a much better situation.

By the way thanks VERY much for buying the record! I hope you are pleased when you get it. Let me know what you think. Sorry it's going to take so long...Distribution was one of many problems we had with that label.

Which will be sooner than I thought - the estimated dispatch was 6-8 weeks, but I've just been automailed to say it was dispatched... today!! (26th Sept). neat! Arriving tomorrow by her majesties Royal Mail.., usually at some time of the morning I didn't think existed, (like 11.00..

Just kidding, I was up then, once.)

Sorry for the late notice, but all the LA and TX shows were postponed because of concerns about the hurricane. The TX shows probably would have been fine, but it wasn't worth the $$ and the trip for just one or two shows...

I'll let you know if/when they are rescheduled, and hopefully you can come out.

Mike - the CD did arrive, and I loved it first time I heard it.. but I wanted to listen a lot before I wrote on it

It's excellent, in fact it surprised me being doubleDrive's first album - I found it a good mix of heavier stuff and chilled stuff, and it's generally a real change from some of the crap we get these days. I particularly love 'Belief System', '1000 Yard Stare', 'Reason', 'Dressed in Light'
Love the drumming in *all* of them, particularly 1000 Yard Stare, Tattooed Bruise, and the cr@@zy drumming in Stand By

How soon until you play in the UK?

And I just found the mysterious track 87.. weird..

keep up the work and I'm really looking forward to your 2nd album - will you be writing anything?

P.S. Just looking at your 300SD site - what do the rest of the band drive and have they had the pleasure of your turbodiesel?
