I thnk it would be close because the 5.0 is lighter engine but ther car is heavier and in comparisson the 6.0 is heavier but the SL is a lighter body. I would have to go with the 600 because the 600sel runs to 60 in like 6.6 where the 500e goes to 60 in like 6.2 and the 600sel is a massive car.

12 cylinder Vs. 8 cylinder.. hmmm
I always hear of how fast the 500e.. but i have never heard any mention of the 6liter 12 cylinder engine. Maybe because its so rare? |

The SL is heavier than the 124 500E.
I give a slight edge to the 500E in a 0-60 or 1/4 mile race, but the V12 does have massive power and torque, especially if you are already at highway speed and then punch it |
