A Mercedes-Benz is a Mercedes-Benz.
When new, all Mercedes exhibited the same driving characteristics as any of the more recent models. Some exceptions may be noted with the improvements in handling and drag coefficients.

For what reason should one get rid of theirs to go to a newer model? Rather it be more prudent to use the trading cash to futher improve on what you already own.

Horsepower and torque cannot make up for the true refinement of an automobile. The console space, the lack of blind-spots, dashboard glare, dashboard size, quality of construction, paint finish, along with a quiet subdued ride across rougher asphalt. This is one man's opinion, but am sure I'm not alone.

Well I'd love a G-Wagon, but I can't afford to buy or feed a horse like that. I'm also a diesel girl, and they don't offer the diesel Gs here.

Realistically, I'd love to add a coupe, possibly a 124 or 123 to my stable. I would never get rid of the car I have, though. Wouldn't mind getting a pal for him, to share the mileage wealth. I don't particularly care if it's something powerful or fancy, but would rather have something I can play with.

My dad is getting a 140 S-500, so that'll be fun to borrow now and then.

The guy I bought my 190 from is selling his E320 (99?) in about a year and a half, so I'll probably be picking that up. Only has 45k on it now.

Just bought my "next MB" last night. It's an $850 '84 300D 197k with dark blue exterior/leather. Slightly crinkled RF fender and the AC/CC are currently inoperative. This'll become our backup commuter car.

I wasn't ready for another but this one came up... 1987 300TDT (White/Blue) 109K Orig Owner trading in for a new MB. Can't pass it up... That'll make 4 oil burners in the driveway !!

I love my 300TE but my dream benz is a 90 or 91 w126. I can't decide between a 560SEL or SEC, I guess it just depends which one crosses my path first.

Thinking of another 94-95 E320Cabriolet.
Also I always like the 91-560SEC.
If I go new. It will be the 2005-350SLK love the body style.
