motor mounts 300SDL

I've got at least one defective motor mount, I intend on changing both. Should I replace the engine shock at the same time? Looking in the Partshop they list the engine shock and an engine shock mount kit, do I need both parts? How difficult is replacing these parts by a person whose a pretty good DIY person?

I would replace the shock/mounts at the same time. I suspect the mount kit is the fasteners that go with the shock.

this is how you do it

first step put the front of the car up on ramps, Step 2 remove center connecting bolt on both sides of each mount 8mm socket allen wrench needed. Step 3 put a block of wood against front flat part of transmission, use a bottle jack to lift engine off of motor mounts. Remove allen srews 2 each side from mounts connecting to frame, 6mm allen screws Step 4 reverse procedure with new mounts. Figured it out myself very easy.
