just wondering how many eagle scouts are benz owners. My brother and I are both eagle scouts, and it is something I am proud of.

I got my Eagle back in 1969 or so along with my two brothers. I am still proud of it today and have kept the patch and badge in excellant condition.

But, my good friend made Eagle Scout (about 40 years ago) and has two MB's

A former Scoutmaster, my two sons are each Eagle Scouts. I was a scout as a youth and my father was the Scoutmaster. Unfortunately I only reached the rank of Life Scout before reaching the max age under the program. Some of my best experiences have been with the Boy Scouts, both as a youth and an adult leader. I attended the National Jamboree as an adult leader, hiked Philmont, attended the Training Center at Philmont, and completed adult Wood Badge training. Scouting is a great program.

I went to one boy scout meeting when I was in elementary school, and the boys got into a fight before the meeting.

I stayed there for that one meeting and never went back.

sad to hear that you missed out on scouting due to such an experience. I know many times where things I learned in scouts came in handy. About a week ago, my brother had to come to a stop in the middle of a highway because a nissan pathfinder had rolled on its side. He had to rip the windshield out, get the passenger and driver out, and treat for shock, and I am not sure how he would have reacted without scouting.

As for those of you who didn't have time to complete eagle, I know how hard it is to finish everything up, and I know how things can get in the way. I was 17 when I moved from san jose to san diego, so I had to finish my eagle through a series of trips up to the bay area to finish merit badges and have meetings. I'm glad I finished tho

I made eagle shortly before my 18th birthday.
Fondest memory was at summer camp at Worth ranch (Tx) where a green beret had us eating plants and insects, and building some kick--- shelters.
