Dumb Question
I need to find the serial number on my MB its an E 300D 95
but the car is a block of ice and where shall I scrape the glass to be able to read the serial number? Hi folks found it, its in the same place as domestics! Have a safe one. Last edited by Diesel-Lover; 12-26-2002 at 08:12 PM.

Do you mean the VIN#?
It should be around the instrument panel (on the driver's side of the glass). Remove some ice from that area and you should be able to see it pretty easily. There should be another one on the B-Pillar, where the driver's door jamb closes to.
