Send an 18 year old boy down with one to buy insurance. Man, would that be a kick!

NO RESTRAINTS NEEDED!
The best part is no restraints needed.
No airbags, No seat belts and in many states no helmets! It sure would be a kick to ride though, wonder if they have TCS and ESP on it?! |

MB calls BMW the "Motorcycle Company", and BMW calls MB the "Taxi Company".
now this is treading on BMW's turf ... |

I wonder if you could even hold onto that puppy at 400 mph!
Pretty sick bike, but if I were gonna buy a bike, nice classic harley or a nice ducatti, or a nice bmw bike. Alon

I guess I'm the dissenting voice here as that bike’s design is somewhere between a bad nightmare and an exuberant exercise in silly. Worse, it is totally unoriginal. The only reason it is of note is the "As if!" silly .25m price tag. Sadly it is a bastardized grand-child of the cartoons in Hot Rod magazines I read as a 10 year old (that was 35 years ago, BTW), except DC’s lacks a flair for style (not that a lack of style is anything new from DC). In the Hot Rod magazine they’d drop a 427 Hemi onto something as small as a blender just for the over done looks. But at least, in Hot Rod, and unlike here, they’d start with a reasonable looking blender!
You want horses and torque? Here is a link and a pix of a rocket bike, which is built to go fast and actually corner....well sort of :p Oops! Here's the link: http://www.tecaeromex.com/ingles/sar-i/motoi.html

It has four wheels! The actual production version would probably be a really bad imitation of an already bad something. I bet they would sell at least one to Jay Leno.

That thing will likely be showcased in the next 'Terminator' movie

I see more clearly that being in the insurance industry is good.
Why work for a living, when you can just collect and track insurance premiums? It's mostly an exercise in statistics - collect 15% more than you pay out...... Ken300D |

I sure do hope that Mercedes isn't blowing their R&D money on crap like this. Who in their right mind at MB would think there is a market for this.
On another note how the hell would you lean into a corner with four wheels!

Maybe they'll borrow technology from the F400 Carving!
