Another Smart Car

that's, of course, unavailable in the US . and i believe it costs less than $14k.

MB Canada has sent a bunch of Smarts around the dealers to gauge response.

The problem here will be price. The Smart is amazing, but at $22,000 it's going to be priced above a Civic or Corolla.

If it were $15K, it would sell like crazy. Heck, I'd buy one right away. But $22K is the price of some pretty decent real cars.

You see the original Smarts all over London. Almost always, they're parked perpindicular to the curb in a small space that nobody else would think of parking in - but they don't stick out in traffic. Amazing.

Of course I'd hate to be in one in the US when it's hit by an Expedition...

i saw those original smarts all over the place in europe but what competed for my attention was first the A series and the old minis that are all over the place. these new models are longer and won't have the ability to squeeze into a spot the width of an impala...
