The Oakland Raiders will be the Super Bowl Champions.Trust me they want it just as bad if not more that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers...our offensive line is too big and they protect Gannon very well. The quarterback for Tampa Bay isnt very mobil like Steve Mcnair so it will be easier for our defense to contain him and get pressure on him. It should be a exciting game since Gruden used to be our coach and essentially knows the players and plays that the raiders usually run.But as the old saying goes the plays still have to be made on the field.Im counting the days now!!
My Pick...
Oakland 34
Tampa 17

I just could not believe the halftime shows, Shania is morphing into some sort of country Cher and Gwen Stephani is turning into Madonna. And the commericial with the Osbournes, I have really, truly seen enough of them to last the rest of my natural life. But otherwise it was a very fun game. I enjoy the energy that flows at those football type-parties, surrounded by all of that, um, well I just had a good time.

I thought the game was a joke , with the exception of the Bucs secondary. And why Sting singing a twenty year old song???? Sting for crying out loud!!! THe high point of the whole affair was the Clydesdale's wrangler calling the referee (a zebra) a 'jackass'!!! Genius, pure genius!!

It was nice to see the Bucs win and prove those who thought they could not do it wrong. By the end of the 2nd quarter, it looked like the Raiders gave up by the looks on their faces. At least they had a little rally in the last half of the game to make it interesting. Maybe the Bucs will get some credit now. After the Bucs performance against the Eagles, I knew they had a very good chance at winning. Finally!

Ok..I will take my licking...My beloved Oakland Raiders got their hats handed to them royally.I guess that John Lynch of the Bucs really knew something when he made the comment during the game that the raiders ran the same plays that they (Tampa) ran in practice.I will give credit where its due.Oh well cant wait to training camp so we can get the super bowl run started all over again!!

I must reflect ...

Being a Raider fan from the 70's (I was 10 years old when I went to my first game - KC, Raiders won), I was very very disappointed. Jerry Rice getting his first catch late in the 3rd quarter, come on!!!

Tampa played like the Champions that they are.

Though I'm very bummed, I will still support my beloved Raiders through thick and thin, but this one hurt. Really hurt.

Thank you gentlemen

for your kind words. There are a great many fans in Tampa who have supported their team through thin and thinner. Having waited 27 years for this, it certainly feels good. I only wish I could be home to enjoy the revelry - I'm working out of town at the moment. Gasparilla this weekend should certainly be a lot of fun.
