This deserves its own thread...

I posted this elsewhere, I but I think it should have its own thread. Check out the new IRS tax form below. Very self-explanatory. Becoming more true by the day. :p

Seems kinda strange that with all that technology in the future, all they could do for CAPT Pike is hook up a $1.50 light bulb and a thing that goes "Bloooop".

And have they not ever heard of Morse code? Maybe the dude could have contributed more than just "Yes" or "No" answers!

The original show sure was in the good ole' days though. You could tell whether the women were from more or less advanced societies by their bikini outfits. Fur bikini = less advanced. Spandex bikini (or a pants suit with LOTS of large holes cut out of them to show alien skin) = more advanced.

Now we got shows about Vulcan Mind-Meld AIDS. Great!

I never understood why, so far into the future, that somewhere along the line, they forgot all about SEATBELTS! The Enterprise has no seat belts! Every time someone shoots at them, everybody falls out of their chairs and tumbles all over the bridge! What's with that? NOT logical! Spock?

Ah, yes, I had heard that Scotty was not exactly what he seemed! A great engineer, nonetheless.

You must admit, it was very touching when he played the bagpipes at your funeral service.

Not to far fetched

Cause there are no seat belts on the submarines or battle ship destroyers today either are there?? And when you think about it, these vessels are pretty futuristic as compared to those of the mid to late 1960's during Star Trek's hay day. Of course the Apollo Rockets and even the Shuttle has seatbelts, but as we all know, they.....well.... it takes a lot more than just seat belts to save lives when dealing with the extremes of space travel.

Now For a little Jeopardy
Famous Ships for $500 please Alex
" A Daily Double"
Which of the following ships had seatbelts
The Millenium Falcon
The Jupiter 2?
The SS Minnow?
PT147(McHale's Navy)?
African Queen?(Bogart/Hepburn)
Titanic
QE1 , or 2
