Vitamins

I'm currently taking 2x 500mg of Vitamin C; 2x1000mg calcium; and one Centrum multi-vitamin after my big breakfast every morning.
I'm trying to achieve smooth, even skin tone, and stronger bones and joints that don't ache as much. I've been to two docs who tell me my only problem is my weight and if I lose weight my aches and pains due to weather changes will disappear. They also said if I wanted to take vitamins they had no problem with that.

So, is taking 2 500mg capsules of Vitamin C, 2 1000mg capsules of calcium and one Centrum mulit vitamin with my morning meal too much, too little or just right?

I weigh 119 kg and should be down around 85kg, I'm working on it. Working on weight when it snows everyday and you can't walk or get to the gym makes the problem worse. As you know I haven't had any fast food since Jan 22 and have cut back on alcohol(have it only twice and week and when I do its wine only)

When I look around I see I'm not the only person in this predicament but I realize my weight problem is stealing my life---no more horse riding, cycling, flying comfortable in coach, etc...

Make sure you are getting plenty of B vitamins, they are responsible for converting carbs and fat to energy and with the exception of B6 have no know toixidity level as they are water soliable. For weight loss these vitamins are essential. Vitamin C can be harmful in large doses, but you'll get the runs from it before you reach that level so if that hasn't happenedits not too much. You need vitamin D and magnesium to go with that calcium, but be careful of the Vit D as it can be toxic at high levels.
