What kind of dog do you have?¿

Howdy All,
In a number of threads there have been references about dogs but no threads about what kind of dog you have. So I guess I'll start. 6 Salukis, 2 very small mutts and until this week a Great Dane that had to be put down because of problems with being old. Ok who is next?¿

One miniature dachshund (little weenie dog). She is a short-hair, and her color is considered red, although it's more of a brownish-red color.

We have a Lab/Pit Bull mix named Dixie. Good thing the Lab personality is dominant......

Howdy Tim,
That pointy eared little bugger must be rough on the body when it decides to sleep in the bed with you I thought Salukis were bad. It has been said that having a saluki in bed is like sleeping with a gunny sack full of deer antlers

LOL.......Frank the ears are soft and move, heck if he likes you he will walk over and cuddle with you and click his ears.

He has an attitude sometimes, but has grown into a healthy puppy over the last 15 months.

Lots of fun, no carpet stains.

What kind of dog? You tell me, Beau's a pound dog we got at about 2 1/2 yrs old, they said he was a schnauzer mix but everyone thinks he's part bouvier (sp?).It doesn't matter he's a good boy 99% of the time.

Two JRTs (Jack Russell Terriers), the coolest breed in town! Tony is a smooth coat with personality, while Sophie is a broken coat with no personality - she's the most lifeless JRT I've ever seen, but she makes a good play toy for Tony.

Cool Manzi & Gordie

Found Manzi (Chesapeake/ Lab, short for for Manzanita) abandoned on Manzanita Beach the weekend before Valentine's Day 5 years ago, approximately a year old. We had two dogs (a Boxer and a German Shepherd) already but I couldn't just leave her...

Brought her back to Portland and gave her to a friend with a 15 year old Golden on his way out (they thought): 40 days later she had 11 puppies! When they all had homes, Manzi returned to live with us. A little too much dog for them.

Gordie is a 10 week old Lab-BOR-dollie (Lab/Border Collie) who joined the family two weeks ago!

Howdy Kyle,
Keep your life simple and go with the Schnauzer/ Bouvier mix. There are a number of the rough coated breeds that could give you that look How tall at the shoulder is he and how much does he weigh?¿

Question What mix are you?

Frank X.: that was a great question for Kyle! I had a couple possible breeds in mind when I saw the picture of Beau, and most would depend on the height & weight.

Have a friend with an Airedale/Lab mix that looks exactly like a very dark Irish Wolfhound puppy: at 80 lbs. that would be a 6 month-old Irish Wolfhound puppy!

Bouvier, the Giant, Standard & Mini Schnauzers, Briard, German Terriers, Kromfohrlander, Airedale, Laekenois, etc. are just a few possibilities...

p.s. It's been suggested before that a 90 degree rotation to the right never really hurt anyone...

Right-wing, right angle, Right-on Bro! Are you any relation to Malcolm X.?????
