Rememberance

While driving your Benz tomorrow, pause a moment before turning the key for Herr Karl Benz, who passed away on the 4th April 1929.

Lightbulb Here's An Idea ! ! !

Wouldn't it be cool to have a day planner and/or PDA program that gave you Mercedes Benz historical trivia every day? Then, all of us "Jellineks" would know whose birthday to celebrate, what milestone to remember, or death to honor.

I'd especially hate to miss the dates relevant to the development of various engines for warplanes and naval craft. That would be . . . Vunderbar!

Well, we all do that . . . the moment of silence would make it different.

It won't be hard for me to pause...tomorrow, unless something changes, I get to tear part of the car apart to find a clunking sound that cropped up yesterday...

I suppose that wrenching on an evolution of his creation is a sufficient way of remembering him...

How about infamous days such as the day the first 140 evaporator cracked or the day the first 603.97 rod bent? Oh, the currency...
